But these candidates were not chosen by who was trending the most. They were measured based on consumer reach, reputation, and an overall impact on the fashion industry. It’s hard to pick the most influential, but we were excited to see fashion veterans Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and the New York Times’ Cathy Horyn make the list.
