Then I noticed that she would come in every few days or so, buy a clearance Polo shirt and a regular price Polo shirt. Every time she came in she would come to me, and she would always return what she bought, not of it having tags attached, but always having a tog in the bottom of the bag. She would always say in her nice charming voice “Oh I am so sorry hun, I keep telling that husband of mine to keep the tags on, but you know men, they never listen to me. If I have to return one more thing without tags on it I am going to make him do it himself.”I will never forget the day I met Jenni, the Queen of Nasty Ass Thieves at the high end retail store that I worked at. She was so nice at first, usually coming in to buy Ralph Lauren Polo shirts for her husband in the men’s department. She would use terms of endearment like “Hun” or “Sweetie” and she always asked us to put each shirt on an individual receipt because they were going to different people. Not a very uncommon thing when working with the biggest customer snobs.
